What Haze to Health is
Haze to Health is an education and navigation service. We provide courses, tools, and research services to help people navigate the US healthcare system. We are not a medical provider, clinic, or covered entity under HIPAA. We are not attorneys. Nothing on this site or in our courses constitutes medical or legal advice.
What our courses are and aren't
Our courses teach self-advocacy, documentation, and navigation strategies for dealing with health insurance systems. They are educational materials. They do not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. They do not replace your relationship with your healthcare provider. We make no guarantees about outcomes.
Provider Match: The Finder
The Finder is a research and identification service. We research in-network specialists based on criteria you provide. We do not verify credentials, accept responsibility for the quality of care provided by any specialist we identify, or guarantee that any specialist will accept your child as a patient. We do guarantee a full refund if we cannot find a specialist meeting your criteria within the stated timeframe.
Refund policy for courses
Full refund available within 14 days of purchase, provided you have not viewed past the first 7 lessons (or as otherwise specified on the course page). After 14 days, or once you view beyond the specified lesson limit (whichever comes first), all sales are final. Pinged Alerts subscriptions included with a course tier are non-refundable once activated.
Refund policy for The Finder
Full refund if we cannot identify a specialist meeting your stated criteria within 15 business days of receiving your completed intake form. If we deliver a match and you choose not to contact the provider, no refund is available.
Data and privacy
We do not collect or store protected health information (PHI). The Finder service requires no child's name, diagnosis, or medical records. Course enrollment is handled by Podia, whose privacy policy governs your data in that context. Email communications are processed through our email service provider. We do not sell personal data.
Content ownership
All course content, tools, templates, scripts, and written materials are the intellectual property of Haze to Health. Courses are licensed for individual use only. You may not resell, redistribute, share login credentials, or reproduce course materials without written permission.
Limitation of liability
Haze to Health's liability is limited to the amount you paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages. We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding outcomes from use of our courses or services.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of California.
