We're not a clinic. We're your unfair advantage in a system that wasn't built for you.
Haze to Health is a California-rooted service that helps adults navigate the medical system, starting with the fight we know best: getting an adult ADHD evaluation through Kaiser. We do the research, write the courses, and build the tools, and refuse to pretend the system is fine.
Six things we'd put on a wall.
Waitlists are a policy choice, not a fact of life.
We don't accept 'that's just how it is.' If a provider isn't taking patients, we keep looking.
You're not lazy. You're not broken.
We know the cost of internalizing a system's failure for years. We meet people where they actually are.
Fresh research, every time.
Provider lists go stale within weeks. There's no shortcut. We don't keep a spreadsheet. We do the work from scratch.
Honest about what we are.
Not clinicians, not a clinic, not HIPAA-compliant (yet). We tell you what we are and aren't, before you pay us anything.
Free things stay free.
Resources, newsletter: free. We make money from the actual work: research, courses, and tools.
Plain English. Always.
If we use a clinical term, we define it. If a simpler word works, we use it. ADHD brains hate jargon.
Only 2 actually take Anthem.
One has an opening in May.
One person, navigating a maze. Then sharing the map.
Haze to Health started because navigating ADHD care in California is, frankly, a full-time job. Months of phone calls, insurance loops, "we're not accepting new patients," and provider lists that go stale within weeks.
Our founder did the work, over and over, for herself and then for friends. The thing she learned: there's no shortcut, no current database, no list that stays accurate. The work is the work. But it can be done for someone, and that changes everything.
Today Haze to Health does the research from scratch every time, teaches what we know through courses (Kaiser ADHD first, with general ADHD and broader medical navigation next), and builds tools to make appointments and chart data legible.
What we are. What we're not.
Questions, partnerships, or just want to yell at the system with us?
We answer real emails. Usually within a day or two. Sometimes after a nap.
